The "vacation house Erika Rombach", Sonnentauweg 6, 78120 Furtwangen-Neukirch and the apartment Elvira are located at the centre of the small village Neukirch (1000 people).
Neukirch is located at an altitude of 960-1141 meter. It was grounded approximately 900 years ago from the monastery St. Peter.
In Neukirch is a butcher "Landmetzgerei Waldvogel (10 min. to walk from the rental).  You will find 2 Restaurants which are 5 min. to
walk, and two ( Inn Ochsen, Inn Hirschen)to reach within 30min. walking.
The bus station is easy to reach by walking from the house within 3 minutes.
There are lots of walking ways in the village for small round trips. But
long-distance walking is also possible. The so called "Westweg" which is passing Neukirch
invites you for walking or mountainbiking. |
The walking path "Westweg" is available for walking and mountain-biking, too.

and leads to the Murgtal nearby the "Schwarzwaldhochstrasse" to
Neukirch. From there the "Westweg" guides you to the Feldberg
which is with 1493 meters the highes mountain at Black-Forst, to Todtnauberg,
Kandern and finally Lörrach (distance: 354 km). For lovers of clocks
the "Deutsche Uhrenstrasse" is very interesting. It goes from Triberg over Furtwangen
(german clock museum),
to Neukirch, St. Märgen (small clock-museum).  From
there it goes to Titisee-Neustadt, Wutach- und Rötenbachschlucht,
Vöhrenbach, Villingen and back to Triberg. More information
